Little India in Frankfurt

The starters are just GREAT! I don’t think any restaurant comes close to their starters. Main dishes and tandoori rotis, naans etc. need improvement. Main dishes seem to be the localized/Germanised versions. Rotis, naans a bit chewy when you get it delivered. Best starters.

It wasn't as good as another Indian restaurant. I ordered the Butter chicken (mild) and I don't like it because it tastes sugar Also, I ordered a Mixed salad and it was ok.

The butter chicken and curry lamb are very good

We had it delivered to us ... first of all, it took a long time. Then came the meat, which wasn't done at all and tasted completely different. We were very nice to report the incident to the restaurant and were told you were sorry, but nothing else. Only when asked and in a very strict tone was given in and the food was delivered again. Was really not pleasant!

Really nice authentic punjabi food! Dishes and spices make you want to order things, you never even heard of! Defintely recommended ?

Chicken Pakora starter absolutely not to be recommended. Main course Chicken Tikka is mostly ok, and the Butter Chicken is really not bad. So there are much better Indians in Frankfurt, but if you are here I only recommend the butter chicken.

For years we have always been ordering the non-veggie thali (including naan bread and yogurt dip). Are very satisfied!

Slow service. They let me wait for 90 minutes for two dishes. Poor quality of basmati rice and arrogant staffs. Not recommended.

Tastes like in India. Delicious. Nice ambience with white tablecloths and simple decoration.

The food we delivered from Little India was very good: the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala together with naan bread and raita sauce were perfect, the samosas crispy and well filled!

It is a lovely restaurant with excellent food, very warm and hospitable staff, must visit place if you want to enjoy good Indian cuisine?????

I ordered a vegetarian meal, two other main dishes and Naan bread. Both me and my two friends are still feeling bad after a day. The food was out of order. Under no circumstances would I reorder there.

Never had Indian food as good as here. Nicely arranged and perfectly seasoned for my taste. The portions are always very plentiful and the service is always cheerful.

We were there for the first time last Thursday and were welcomed openly and friendly. We had various starters (unfortunately without a photo) and 3 different main dishes. It was delicious and the price is reasonable. We will definitely go back. PS: The Mangolassi is awesome, mega delicious!

The Indian palate is well represented here. In this restaurant you feel like in "little India". It is also nice that the food is presented in the typical Indian way. The staff very nice. A star deduction for the long wait of food.

BEWARE when you order papadam for starters. It is typically part of the "greetings from the kitchen" so you shouldn't have to pay for it. My friend ordered it, and the waiter did not give a hint. Neither did he give us extra papadam (the one we ordered on top). When the bill came, and we asked him directly if papadam was actually "greetings from the kitchen" cos we say every table had one, his answer was "oh yeah, since they didn't order, we bring for them. But since you order, then we charged" ---- WHAT TYPE OF EXCUSE IS THAT! Other Indian restaurant gives you this heads up. There are many other places in Frankfurt for decent Indian food. At least they don't try to cheat you. Sad actually.

very friendly people, very good taste of food

2 hours to deliver and lies about "5-10 minutes" when I call. In the end the restaurant said they would call the driver and call me back. They did not cal me back, I waited 10 minutes and called them, they had closed! In the end the food did arrive, it was not hot. I expect a refund.

One of the good restaurent for Indian food in the city. I like the snacks items over here, test like items in India. One can also purchase daily grocery Indian items.

Good food and ambience at reasonable prices

Food was deliciouse but disappointed with phone services, the guy unable to understand and speak english even German. I got wrong food instead of which i oder, That happened 3rd time. I order banana lassi for my kids, it was terrible to use fresh banana it was mixture of banana juice and yogurt, even glass below the marked level.

This restaurant had very good reviews on a magazine then my boyfriend and I decided to try. Just the best Indian food that I've had in Frankfurt so far! The service was great, I am positively surprised because for that food and service I would expect to pay more.

Best Indian takeout food I've had in the city. Also nice sitting inside or on the patio. Lots of veggie options.
